Meridiana is an ancient hayloft (260 m2) which has been completely renovated. It sits in a very small group of houses in the hills east of Lucca with views of the hills, olive groves, surrounding vineyards and of the city of Lucca. The fenced-in property has a large garden with lawn with outdoor furniture and swimming pool (6x12), oven and barbecue.

Located at the feet of the medieval hamlet of Montecarlo, in a peaceful panoramic position with views of the surrounding countryside, it is just 15 km from Lucca with its wonderful tree-lined city walls and antique market every third Sunday of the month. Here in the peaceful countryside you will be immersed in the splendid green countryside surrounded by soft rolling hills and olive groves so typical of This part of Tuscany. You will enjoy the peace and seclusion, but you can stroll along to the Medieval hamlet for your morning capuccino or to dine in one of the local trattorias.

This ancient home has been finely and elegantly restored with every modern comfort and is located in a very small nucleus of houses. These are the ancient farmhouses dating back to the 1700s, haylofts and cellars, all set around a large square and which once belonged to the padronal villa built in the 1600s which dominates the little hamlet from 300 meters higher up.

The furnishings and materials have been chosen with utmost care making it a home of maximum comfort and delight, in complete harmony with the beautiful setting. Entry to the property is through secure gates.

The swimming pool (12 x 6 mt) is set on a natural terrace on a lower level of the garden in a tranquil spot with lovely views. Olive and fruit trees surround the property.

Our accommodation in the villa of 260 sq mt set over two levels. The atmosphere of the common rooms is charming and welcoming with the shiny old brick floors and sand-blasted wood beams and ceilings.

Ground floor: live-in kitchen, with large refrigerator with ice maker , TV, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher and other small appliances, large dining room and living room with fireplace and access to the terrace (bread oven) and garden, outdoor dining area, laundry room with washing machine, WC.

First level: 1 double bedroom with Jacuzzi tub, 1 bedroom with two single beds, 1 bedroom with small double bed (140 cm), 1 bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower.

The villa is equipped with air conditioning in the bedrooms and in the living room.

3 hours of cleaning a week with linen change are included in the price. Lunches and dinners are possible on request. Comfortable furniture. Telephone. Central heating. Baby-bed available.

2 km food shops, 4 km Montecarlo (all kinds of shops, restaurants) and Vinaria fair in September, 15 km Montecatini Terme (golf club and spas), 15 km Lucca with its tree-lined city walls and antique market every third Sunday of the month (summer festival in July, and September festival for Volto Santo), 35 km Pisa (airport) and the beaches of Versilia, 60 km Florence, the capital of renaissance art, and 130 km Siena.
