Alba, Pomeriggio and Sera are three elegant and very comfortable houses located in the hills overlooking Florence. They can together host up to 12 people.

The beautiful, newly renovated and restored property has been published in Elle and other architectural magazines. The owner is a noted interior designer and  has deftly applied her professional talents to the design and interiors of the three houses.

Each house has an independent entrance, a private outdoor space for dining al fresco, delightful pool area and parking within the beautiful landscaped grounds. The property offers breathtaking views over the city and the Florentine countryside.

The houses are within walking distance to the picturesque village of Settignano, very well known since sculptors like Rossellino and Michelangelo worked here. From Settignano you can catch the municipal bus (no. 10) to the city (15 minutes ride) or have a drink in the cafes and a wonderful dinner at the wine bar in the village.

This is an excellent location for those wishing to stay in Florence, yet enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the country, with the opportunity of having fresh vegetables from the garden and buying the extra virgin olive oil produced on the property.

THE ACCOMMODATION

ALBA – Sleeps 4.

This house  is rented together with the smaller apartment Pomeriggio to sleep a total of 6 persons. It measures 80 square meters with rooms all on one level. The house has been tastefully renovated with a mixture of modern and traditional Tuscan furniture, Venetian floors throughout, wood beamed ceiling and modern bathrooms.

Ground Floor consists of:

• Living/ kitchen and dining area with TV and open fireplace overlooking an elegantly furnished patio with sitting area and dining table.
• The “Magnolia suite” with a King size bed (cm 200 mattress), that can be converted into two beds, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with tub and shower.
• The “Green room“. With large double bed (cm 170 mattress), wardrobe, en-suite bathroom with large shower.
• Laundry with washing machine and storage.
• Air conditioning.

POMERIGGIO – Sleeps 2

This house is rented together with Alba to sleep a total of 6 persons. Pomeriggio is a converted barn and one of the 3 houses on this property.It measures approx. 48 square meters on two levels.

The house has been tastefully renovated with a mixture of modern and traditional Tuscan furniture. There are tiled floors throughout, wooden beamed ceiling in the living area and a modern bathroom.

Ground Floor consists of:

• The “Carriage suite” with king size bed (cm 180 mattress)
• En-suite bathroom with shower
• Walk-in closet

First floor consists of:

• Living/dining/kitchen area with table for two and open fireplace
• Two stone steps lead down into the garden area.

SERA – Sleeps 6

This house, which sleeps 6 people, can be combined with the other houses on the property to sleep a total of 12 persons. It measures 135 square meters on two levels and is nested into the hillside.

The house has been tastefully renovated with a mixture of modern and traditional Tuscan furniture. There are tiled floors throughout, wooden beamed ceiling on the first floor and modern bathrooms.

Ground floor opens to the lower garden and consists of:

• The “Black & White suite” with big queensize bed (cm 170 mattress), en suite bathroom with separate large shower and bath, walk-in closet and safe box. French doors to lower private garden.
• The “Wistaria suite” with queensize bed, (cm 170 mattress), that can be converted into two beds, en suite bathroom with separate large shower, walk-in closet. French doors to lower private garden
• Laundry with washing machine.
• The conservatory.
• Air conditioning.

First floor opens to the upper garden and consists of:

• Living/dining/kitchen with table for 6 and open fireplace overlooking a comfortable outside sitting area with pergola and table for al fresco dining.
• The “Flower suite” with a 4 poster bed, fire place, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.
• Air conditioning.
