Located between Arona and Stresa on the shore of Lake Maggiore, Villa Erin is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the attractions of the wonderful Italian lake district. The villa provides all the facilities that one would expect from luxury accommodation: air conditioning, pool, private dock, tennis court and golf course. Guests can also use bikes, canoes and the dinghy sail boat offered by the owner.

On request it is possible to book an excursion with the owner’s helicopter or a cruise with the owner’s 15 meter vintage (1927) sailing boat and 12 meter vintage wooden motorboat.

The estate is located in an exclusive gated community, far from the bustle of the road that runs along the lakeshore. The lush garden extends over 80,000 sqm (20 acres) and is planted with native flowers, fruit trees and aromatic herbs.

Proximity to the village also ensures that all essential amenities are close at hand at a ten minutes walk including, restaurants, cafés, a supermarket, pâtisserie, post office, bank, hairdressers, bus stop.

Completely and newly restored, Villa Erin is a fully air-conditioned spacious house (350 sqmt/3767 sq ft) and is a single level dwelling therefore suitable for people with walking difficulties. The villa comes with four bedrooms each with en suite bathroom (shower). It features a spacious living room with working fireplace, a large and superb kitchen equipped for the most ardent cook, a dining area opening on a shaded pergola for al fresco dining. Upstairs there is an additional open space /living area.

The area

The surrounding offers an impressive range of cultural and sporting activities. The region is a paradise for walkers and cyclists with horse-riding, tennis, also available nearby.

For golfers: two golf courses are located within 10-15 minutes' drive, with several more less than an hour away.

Beaches and water sports facilities are of course available.

The villa is 500 meters from the village of Lesa and sits almost equidistant (4 km) between Arona and Stresa the to main tourist resorts on Lake Maggiore. The ferry to the other lake towns and islands docks at Belgirate (10 min. walk). Switzerland is just half an hour away.

Tours in the area include Stresa, the Borromeo Islands, Brissago Islands, Arona, Villa Taranto (botanical gardens), and the Cannero Riviera. A 10 min drive gets you to the ferry launches in Belgirate, while the romantic Lake Orta with Isola San Giulio is at just a 15 min drive.

In Stresa (5 minutes drive) in its wonderful setting, the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées offers Beauty, Fitness and Antistress programs featuring all the most modern equipments.

Many fabulous restaurants are located in the area as well as cafés and shops. Milan's Malpensa airport is 27 miles away and is reachable by shuttle. Milano is at 1 hour drive by motorway, it is reachable also by train from Arona
