Encircled by its own vineyard, Domaine en Luberon nestles in the foothills of the famous Luberon mountains in the heart of Provence. It is an XVIII century stone country house, winery, and former silk farm, with one wing converted into four unique and beautifully decorated cottages, each with its own panoramic terrace. The property is surrounded by it’s own pine forest, vines, wild herbs, fruit trees and the song of the crickets. The owners would be delighted to welcome you to this lovely part of the world where you can relax, swim, sunbathe, visit and generally enjoy beautiful Provence.. The Accommodation: Each cottage is on two levels and is totally self-contained with full kitchen facilities, a comfortable sitting room with TV and wood-burning fireplace, thus ideal for autumn, winter and early spring stays. They are all furnished with taste and decorated with elegance in the sunny colours of Provence. Upstairs you find the bedroom with queen-size bed, beautiful linens, and each bedroom having its own bathroom with a tub or shower. The individual terraces are furnished for private outside relaxing and dining and guests share a large infinity swimming pool amongst the cherry trees, olives, roses, and vines. The views across the vineyards to Mont Ventoux and the Luberon hills are magnificent! L’Ecurie & Le Murier – each sleeps 4, Le Mazet – sleeps 2, Le Cerisier – sleeps 3 or 4 Le Mazet, French for little stone shelter, is a romantic one bedroom cottage featuring a sitting area with fireplace, provencal furniture, dining table and fully equipped corner kitchen. The first floor bedroom overlooks the vines and Luberon hills and has a queen size bed with luxurious linens. The en suite tiled bathroom contains a large bath and separate shower with stacks of fresh towels. It has its own terrace with table and chairs. The Domaine is surrounded by many of the famous “villages perchés” of Provence, to name a few: Oppède le Vieux, Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Menerbes and Lacoste. It is also ideally situated for a visit to the famous wine regions of the southern Rhône and those who wish to visit the bustling farmer's market in Coustellet (Sunday morning) and the larger markets of Cavaillon (Monday morning), Isle sur la Sorgue (Sunday morning) and Aix en Provence (Thursday and Saturday mornings).
