This apartment captures the unique architecture of the "Hausmanien" buildings with high ceilings that are so typical of Paris. It is on the 4th floor with an elevator. Both the building door and the staircase door are secured by codes.

The large and bright rooms include a living room featuring seating and dining areas with everything you need to entertain eight people. The living room / Dining room is large and full of light. The big brown leather couch is spacious and comfortable. Best way to watch your evening news, a DVD of your choice or... light a candle, have a glass of wine, lean back and listen to your favorite record. In the same space a glass table will accommodate 6 people comfortably. If you open it you can accommodate 10 people around it. And if you choose to have a buffet style meal, you will find a set of dishes and glasses for 12. Of course you will find several table cloths to choose from. Three full-length French windows, make the room bright and airy. The hundred-year-old herringbone patterned hardwood floors are covered with beautiful Persian rugs.

The master bedroom is generously proportioned, with a queen-sized bed. Two full-length French windows add great light and a soft breeze on summer nights. The second bedroom features two single beds that can be put together to make a double bed. The clean-lined kitchen is thoroughly modern and fully equipped. The kitchen is totally modern and has all the appliances , pots and pans that you would need to whip up that gourmet meal, after your visit to the Montorgeuil Market. It’s ideal for indulging in gourmet cooking after shopping for top-quality ingredients at the Montorgueil open market, a block away from the apartment.

The bathroom has a large shower. The WC is separate and at the other end of the apartment which makes it more convenient when several people share the apartment.
The apartment was recently fully renovated, retaining the original floors and moldings.
TV with cable, DVD, Internet connection in the bedroom, telephone with local call and more with your phone card, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, traditional oven, toaster and coffee maker, washing machine. Good quality pots and pans and bedding.

The central location next to the rightfully fabled Montorgueil Market is sure to make your stay unforgettable. The area is alive with stores, restaurants and cafes that are open late in the night. 100m from the Pompidou Center and 100 m from Les Halles you are in the center of Paris. You can walk to Chatelet, Opera, Notre Dame de Paris and St Eustaches churches as well as the Louvre.

Rue Montorgueil - The Rue Montorgueil neighborhood is a cheerful, vibrant pedestrian quarter in the heart of Paris. Some of the city's best produce, meat and fish markets can be found here, patisseries, cozy bistros, boutiques, and bars diverse enough to please adventurists and traditionalists alike.

The neighborhood feels like a village, but in the heart of Paris, just a 15-minute stroll to the Louvre museum or Notre Dame cathedral. Be sure to visit Saint Eustache, a few blocks from the apartment. It's a Gothic marvel of soaring stone pillars and arches, and almost as imposing as Notre Dame but without the crowds of tourists.
