This charming villa is located in one of the most beautiful and panoramic areas along the Amalfi Coast. It is conveniently located between the two historical towns of Amalfi and Ravello in a private and exclusive position, making it a great starting point for easy day trips to all the tourist points of interest of the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Coast as well as Naples, the Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, and the islands of Capri and Ischia.

The pool, situated on the upper floor of the villa, and the five different levels of large terraces and gardens face the sun and the sea. From every corner you can admire views of the dramatic Lattari mountains, lush and green with lemon trees, which plunge steeply into the sea, enclosing the narrow valleys of the villages of Minori and Maiori, the picturesque inlet of the coast, visible up to Capo D’Orso, and last but not least, the open and splendid view of the Mediterranean sea.

The terraces are decorated with pots filled with flowers; some are sun-drenched and others shaded by pergolas, trees or awnings. The interiors are luminous, welcoming, and tastefully and elegantly furnished in bright Mediterranean style.

Accommodation (interior 250 sq m, 1000 sq. meters of outdoor area consisting of terraces and gardens). The house is set on two levels.

Entrance is from the main road along the short private driveway. A garage, at the end of the driveway, provides parking for one car; there is additional parking for two cars along the driveway.

• 19 steps up to the main floor of the villa. Entrance is into a roomy and airy living room, elegantly furnished with large sofas and couches placed around an open marble fireplace, and decorated with lots of precious lamps, paintings and ceramic vases, a crystal dining table for 6 with wood base and elegant wood chairs. This room features two French windows with coordinating curtains opening onto a panoramic terrace with spectacular views. This terrace is equipped with a wrought iron table with ceramic top for 6 and wrought iron chairs. Another French window opens onto a side terrace also with sea views. The living-room has large windows through which you can enjoy a wide-open view of the seascape.

• The kitchen can be reached from the living room but also from the terrace, making it easy and pleasant to organize outdoor meals. It is fully equipped with a dining table for 8, and equipment offers 4 gas rings, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, fridge, freezer. A door leads to the terrace situated in a delightful corner, surrounded by pine trees and a mature violet bougainvillea. You will find this terrace perfect for outdoor meals in front of a breathtaking seascape. It is equipped with a big table for outdoor meals and shaded by awnings.

Next to the kitchen is the elevator. In addition, there is also a laundry-room available and a bathroom with modern glass shower cubicle, washbasin, WC, hairdryer, etc. A hallway behind the living room leads to a roomy bedroom featuring one queensize bed, one single bed and en-suite bathroom with large shower cubicle, washbasin, WC, hairdryer, etc. Two French doors open to terraces with sea views

The upper level, reached either through the internal staircase ( 20 steps) or the elevator, houses two queensize bedrooms and one twin bedroom. The larger double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with large shower cubicle and hydro massage tub, washbasin, WC, etc.; the other two bedrooms share a bathroom, located in the hall, with a modern glass stall shower. Each bedroom has its own TV, independent controls for the air conditioning and French doors opening onto terraces with sea views.

From this floor, the elevator takes you to a spacious terrace (reachable also from the entrance of the villa with an external stairway of 45 steps) with terracotta floor, decorated with large terracotta pots overflowing with geraniums. A stairway of 21 steps goes to the upper level with a huge terrace which provides spectacular views of the coast and the sea and comfortable furnished outdoor spaces. It houses a rather large swimming pool (16x7), two outdoor showers, deck chairs, shaded dining area with table and charcoal barbecue, and a corner equipped as a bar.

Access: Remote-controlled gate opening onto the private driveway. Parking for three cars. Car recommended but not essential.

Facilities: Swimming pool (7 m x 16 m ), 2 outdoor showers, elevator, laundry room with 2 washing machines, dishwasher, satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, winter heating, air conditioning throughout, pay telephone for incoming and out going calls, ADSL internet connection, fridge, freezer, electric oven, hairdryer in each bathroom, barbecue area, ironing facilities, private parking area for 3 cars .

Services: English speaking manager on call. Food delivery service, private chef, baby sitter, baby cot and high chair available at additional cost.

Maid service: cleaning services (5 hours per day from Monday till Saturday) and twice-a-week change of linen are included in the rental price

Pool opening: from 5 May to 20 October.

Distances: The nearest grit beach is Castiglione di Ravello, 1.5 km away. This is a picturesque half-moon shaped beach, nestled in a little bay surrounded by a high stretch of coast. In order to arrive at the beach you have to descend from the road via a public stairway consisting of approx. 180 stone steps. During the summer months you are able to take advantage of a bar and of umbrellas and sun lounges rental facilities. Other beaches that can be reached more comfortably, by car or by bus, are the beaches of Atrani (1 km), Amalfi (2.5 km), Minori (5 km) and Maiori (6 km). The nearest supermarket “DESPAR” is situated on the main road going towards Ravello at about 2.5 km away.

Nearest restaurants, bars, shops, banks, and post office are in Atrani, Amalfi or in Ravello town centre. At approx. 200 meters there is the bus stop marked SITA to Amalfi (10 min) and Ravello (10 min); you buy the ticket in advance in a tobacco shop. From the port of Amalfi ferries and hydrofoils ply daily to Capri (1½ h.), Positano (20 min.), Ischia (2½ h) and Salerno (1 h.). The services operate only during the summer season.
